8/1 Ride - Kestrel/Redcliffs

This Monday we will be riding Kestrel to Red Cliffs. It is a steady incline and then a really fun loop down that is completely doable for everyone. Let's plan on meeting at Camel's Back parking lot (off of 13th street by the tennis courts) to be on the trail by 7:00.

We will head to either Harrison Hollow or Hyde Park afterwards for food and a cold cocktail.

Hope to see everyone there!

7/25 Ride - Seamans Gulch Loop

Calling out all new riders and people we haven't seen on the trails in awhile! This next ride is for you.

We will be riding Seaman's Gulch Loop this Monday. It is a wonderful short and sweet beginner ride which will help new riders get a taste for mountain biking as well as giving us all a little break from the heat (less then 3 miles). Plan on arriving prior to 7:00 as we will start up the trail at that time. Intermediate/advanced riders can loop it twice (going both directions) for a longer/cardio ride.

Following the ride, we will head to Pizzelchick for some yummy food/beverages(corner of state street and Glenwood) for those interested.

Directions: Follow Hill Road west of Boise past Gary Lane until you come to an intersection with Seaman’s Gulch Road and Hill Road Parkway. Bear right on the main paved road and follow signs to Hidden Springs. At .9 miles from this junction, turn right into a parking area and trailhead. The ride starts here.

Hope to see everyone there!

7/18 Ride - Table Rock

This Monday's (7/18) ride will be Table Rock/Rock Island/Rock Garden followed by a mini pool party at Angella's house near Table Rock. We'll be meeting at the Warm Springs golf course off Warm Springs Road at 6 (since this is earlier than our typical rides, be sure to let us know if you can't make it by 6, and we can push it back). The trail consists of a steep (but quick!) uphill followed by a loop up top with some optional rock and technical features to try if you're feeling up to it! Since Angella has been generous enough to offer her house/pool up after the ride, make sure to bring drinks/snacks, and we'll all head up after the ride. Please let us know if you can make it!

7/11 Ride - Hillside to Hollow

Because we've had so many new editions since our first couple rides (and in an attempt to mitigate heat stroke!), this Monday we will be riding the Hillside to Hollow loop. This trail is a good mix of uphill and downhill and is completely do-able (and totally fun) for any level. We will be meeting at the parking lot right next to Highlands Hollow Restaurant (2455 Harrison Hollow Lane, Boise, ID, 83702) to start the ride by 6:30.

We always have the option to head inside Highlands Hollow Restaurant for some yummy dinner/drinks after the ride for anybody that is interested.

Directions: Head up Harrison Blvd past Hill Road. You will see Serenity Spa to your left and will take a soft left at the next road and drive past Highlands Hollow Restaurant to the open parking lots right next to it.

Hope to see everyone there!

7/7 - Hulls Gulch Pictures

I think the mini-afternoon storm scared off some ladies for the ride but it ended up being really great weather. Perfect evening breeze and it was nice to escape the 90 degree heat for a bit. Really fun ride!! All pictures from the ride are posted on dirt dolls facebook page.
